Ceremony Honors Journalists Killed in Iraq
More Than 100 Photos of Iraqi Journalists and Media Workers Killed on Display

An Iraqi woman reacts as she looks at portraits of journalists who were killed in acts of violence in Iraq during a ceremony to honor them in Baghdad today. Some 183 journalists and media workers have been killed in Iraq since the US-led invasion of 2003, according to media watchdog Reporters without Borders. The vast majority have been Iraqis killed by insurgent groups or militias angered by their coverage or ideologically opposed to their employers.
