The 75 year old British al-Sarafiya Bridge was cut in two by a truck bomb early Thursday in Baghdad. Ten Iraqis were killed and 26 were injured. There may be up to 20 cars that plunged into the Tigris.

The connects the Sunni Waziriyah district and the Shia Utafiyah district. The bridge may look familiar, it has a similar structure in Fallujah made famous by the Blackwater killings in 2004. It was christened "Blackwater Bridge" in a private ceremony in 2005.
